Turn your finished episode into a working transcript
For podcast hosts, producers and editors who have an episode file and need text they can review, quote or hand over. EasySub starts with speech-to-text; your review turns the draft into an episode transcript. This is a file-based workflow, not an RSS or Spotify-link downloader.
Upload, transcribe and check
Open the workspace, create a project and upload an authorized MP3 or WAV recording. Use the final edit, including its introduction and any inserted ads. Select the language actually spoken, rather than the language you want to publish in. Check available minutes and upload limits in your account before submitting. Review the generated text against playback: names, dates, numbers, specialist terms and changes of speaker deserve particular attention.
Choose the right handoff
Use TXT for a reading copy to format in your document editor. Use SRT or VTT when the receiving player needs timed text; test that player before delivery. ASS carries subtitle styling but is not a replacement for a readable episode transcript. Download the source-language text unless you intentionally need a translation. Translated or bilingual text is not dubbed audio, and a subtitle file is not a video with burned-in captions.
Know what still needs an editor
Add verified speaker names yourself where needed; automatic speaker identification, summaries and chapters are not promised here. Mark uncertain speech for another listen instead of guessing. Music, overlapping voices and mixed languages can need extra correction. If the episode is recut, check timing again. You are responsible for permission to transcribe and publish the recording.
Workflow sample
Public workflow sample: 33.72 seconds of self-authored English synthetic speech, processed on 23 October 2026. The linked SRT is the unmodified source-language output. It was checked in the recorded test, not professionally human-edited. This is not a full podcast, a multi-speaker test or a benchmark for this page’s language.

Our next workshop starts on June 15 at 9:30. The sample’s third cue runs from 00:00:07,950 to 00:00:12,149 and includes “June 15 at 9:30”. Preserve both values when editing. Joining cues into a reading paragraph must not overwrite the original cue times.
