How to Generate Video from Text
You can generate a video in three steps: describe the scene, choose your settings, and then generate and review the results.
1. Describe Your Scene
Enter the subject, action, and environment you want to portray, and specify your requirements for camera angles and style. We recommend focusing on one scene and one main action to ensure your description is clear and specific.
2. Choose Your Settings
Using the options provided on the workspace, select the model, video duration and aspect ratio. Before generating, please confirm the current settings and the required quota; optional parameters are subject to the selected model.
- Regarding modes:
| Mode | 의미 | Suitable Uses |
|---|---|---|
| Economy | Focuses on low-cost previews and exploring ideas. | Testing prompts and confirming scenes, compositions, and creative directions. |
| 빠른 | Balances output quality with shorter waiting times. | Quickly testing multiple versions or producing previews under time pressure. |
|
Studio 추천 |
Focuses on higher fidelity for detailed everyday production. Recommended by the platform. | Everyday promotional materials, social media clips, and polished finished videos. |
|
Pro Studio 찬성 |
According to the platform, offers the highest-detail motion and supports videos up to 30 seconds. Features the PRO badge. | Scenes requiring highly detailed movement or longer shots. |
- Regarding aspect ratios:
Aspect ratio: 16:9, suitable for website banners and landscape displays; if used for portrait-oriented short videos, select 9:16.
Regarding audio:
EasySub offers an option to generate sound, which you can configure as required. Once generated, check that the audio synchronises with the video; audio generation and subtitle processing are separate functions and must be checked individually.
3. Generate and Review
After clicking “Generate,” preview the subject, actions, and shots to ensure they match your description. If the results are off, modify the corresponding prompt and regenerate. Once you’ve confirmed the results, download the video using the export options supported by the current plan.
Shape Your Video with Words and Settings
In EasySub’s text-to-video generator, you can use text to guide the content of the footage and select the output specifications via the settings provided in the workspace. Prompts set the creative direction; the specific results should be previewed and confirmed after generation.
Subject and Action
Be clear about who or what you want to show, and how the subject moves. Compared to ‘a person walking’, ‘a backpacker walking slowly along a mountain path’ conveys your intention more clearly.
Setting and Visual Style
Describe the setting, lighting and visual style so that the visuals serve your content. For example, specify a rainy night street for narrative shots, or soft morning light for nature scenes.
Camera Direction
Use text to describe close-ups, long shots, tracking shots or slow pans to guide the viewer’s attention to key elements. It is recommended that each short clip focus on one primary camera movement to avoid conflicting requirements.
Model, Format and Duration
Select the model, aspect ratio and duration based on the options available on the workspace to ensure the output is suitable for your publication platform. Options may vary depending on the model; please refer to the current interface display.
Create Video Clips for Your Next Project
You can use the generated video clips for social media intros, supplementary footage, creative ad previews and story scenes, before incorporating them into your existing projects for editing.
Social Media Video Clips
Create theme-relevant opening sequences for your Shorts, Reels or TikTok videos. For example, use the steam rising from a cup of morning coffee to introduce everyday content, helping your audience get straight to the heart of the matter.
AI B-roll
When your commentary video lacks accompanying footage, you can generate shots of environments, objects or atmospheric scenes to serve as supplementary material. For example, footage of raindrops tapping against a window can be used to bridge the narrative and enrich the visual presentation.
Video Ad Concepts
Before organising the shoot, turn your advertising concept into a short clip to preview the scenes, lighting and camera angles. Use this to discuss the creative concept with your team, identify any areas requiring adjustment, and then finalise the production plan.
AI Storytelling
Generate scene set-ups or transition shots for your story. For example, use a forest path shrouded in mist to establish the setting, then cut to a shot of the character. First, determine the narrative function of each segment, then combine them into a coherent whole.
Writing Better Text-to-Video Prompts
The key to writing effective text-to-video prompts is to make your visual requirements specific and clear. Start by clearly defining the subject and action, then add details about the setting, camera angles and style as required.
Structure Your Prompt in 5 Parts
You can organise your description using the following five elements. Google’s Veo prompt guide also uses a similar framework, but this is not a fixed format that must be followed item by item.
| Element | What You Need to Describe | 예 |
|---|---|---|
| 주제 | The main person or object in the scene | A white ceramic coffee cup |
| 행동 | What action or change occurs with the subject | Steam rising slowly |
| 환경 | Location and surroundings | A wooden table by the window, with early morning sunlight |
| Camera | Composition and camera movement | Close-up, with the camera slowly moving in |
| Style | Visual style of the scene | Realistic, with warm, soft tones |
Compare Video Prompt Examples
Simple description:
A cup of coffee.
More specific description:
A white ceramic coffee cup sits on a wooden table by the window, with steam rising slowly. Morning sunlight streams in from the side. A close-up shot slowly moves in, using a realistic style with warm, soft tones.
This specific version clarifies the action, lighting and camera movement, reducing the need for the model to make decisions on its own. You can copy it and then replace the subject and setting.
Refine One Detail at a Time
After previewing the result, start by modifying the part that most deviates from your expectations. For example, if you wish to emphasise the steam, adjust the action description first whilst keeping the other conditions unchanged. This makes it easier to determine which changes are effective.

AI 비디오 생성기 FAQ
Q1. How Do I Generate a Video from Text?
Log in to EasySub, enter the scene description you wish to generate, then select the generation mode, duration, aspect ratio, resolution, and whether to include audio. Once you have confirmed the AI credit quote for this task, click ‘Generate’. Once complete, preview the video and audio, then download the video as an MP4 file. To ensure your description is as clear as possible, we recommend specifying the subject, actions, setting, visual style and camera movement.
Q2. Is the AI Text-to-Video Generator Free?
EasySub offers a free trial allowance for new users. Newly registered users who meet the promotional and risk control criteria will receive a one-off allocation of 100 AI Credits and 30 minutes of subtitle duration. Generating videos requires you to log in and will consume AI Credits; subtitle duration is calculated separately. For example, a 5-second, 720p text-to-video in Economy mode typically consumes 98 AI Credits.
If you require additional credits, you can purchase credit packs or select a paid subscription plan. Furthermore, submitting valuable bug reports or product suggestions may earn you a reward of 100 AI Credits upon approval.
Q3. How Long Can Each Generated Video Be?
Economy, Fast and Studio modes support the generation of videos lasting 4–15 seconds per session, whilst Pro Studio supports 4–30 seconds. A valid paid subscription is required to use Pro Studio or to generate videos longer than 15 seconds.
If you require a longer finished video, you can split the content into multiple scenes, generate clips separately, and then combine them using a video editing workflow. The duration limits stated here apply to individual clips generated in a single session.
Q4. Can I Turn a Full Script into a Finished Video?
You can break down a full script into multiple scene descriptions, generate video clips for each one, and then complete the editing, voice-over and subtitling. Text to Video is suitable for generating short clips based on scene prompts; the transitions between scenes, narrative pacing and final editing in a full script still need to be completed through a subsequent workflow.
If the script contains recurring characters, you can combine this with EasySub’s character video workflow to reuse characters across multiple scenes and organise the story content. Learn about the creative process
Q5. Do Generated Videos Include Sound?
Yes. The Economy, Fast, Studio and Pro Studio plans all support enabling or disabling sound generation; enabling sound does not incur additional AI Credits. You can describe the sounds you wish to include in your prompt; the specific rendering of dialogue, ambient sound or music depends on the selected model and the generated output.
After generation, we recommend checking both the visuals and the audio track. Sound generation does not automatically generate subtitles; if subtitles are required, you can use a separate subtitling tool, which will consume a separate subtitle duration quota.
Q6. Can I Download Videos Without a Watermark?
Videos can be downloaded in MP4 format. If you require a watermark-free file, please contact the EasySub support team before generating the video to confirm the preview and download watermark rules for trial and paid accounts, as well as the conditions under which watermark-free exports are permitted.
Q7. Can I Use Generated Videos for Commercial Projects?
Before using videos for advertising, brand promotion or client projects, please first confirm the scope of the commercial licence for your chosen generation service and ensure that you hold the necessary rights to any images, characters, trademarks and audio materials used. Please refer to the Terms of Service for specific usage conditions and confirm with the EasySub support team whether your project’s intended use is permitted.
Q8. How Many Credits Does Video Generation Use?
The number of credits consumed for text-to-video generation depends on the generation mode, duration and resolution. Taking a 5-second, 720p video as an example, the estimated consumption is 98 AI Credits for Economy, 150 for Fast, 188 for Studio and 300 for Pro Studio.
Videos are calculated based on the selected duration, with credits rounded up. Changing the aspect ratio or enabling audio does not incur additional credits. Please check the exact quote displayed for this task before submission. AI tools such as video, image and text-to-speech share the same AI credit balance, whilst subtitle duration is calculated separately. For further information, please refer to the pricing page.
